Fixtures for the Premier League 25/26 come out on 18th June 2025 and will be displayed in full here.
What to Expect this Season
The 2025-26 Premier League season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent memory, with traditional contenders aiming to reclaim the title and emerging clubs poised to challenge the status quo.
Title Contenders
Liverpool
Under the guidance of Arne Slot, Liverpool won their 20th top-flight title last season, showcasing balanced tactics and decent squad depth. Key players like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk made all the difference last year and we can expect the same from them in 25/26, the Reds are well-positioned to defend their title against the likes of Man City and Arsenal.
Manchester City
Despite a depressing trophiless campaign by City's standards, Pep Guardiola's sky blues remain a formidable team to keep an eye on. With players like Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, City will be eager to bounce back and reclaim their status as the top team in the Prem.
Arsenal
Mikel Arteta's young squad continues to mature, with Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka showing leadership. After a strong finish last season, the Gunners are ready to mount a serious title challenge, watch out because it won't surprise us if they start the season strong and hold on to the top spot.
Newcastle United
Eddie Howe has transformed Newcastle into genuine contenders - amazingly enough out of nowhere! Highlighted by their EFL Cup triumph over Liverpool (although it's always been a bit of an after thought trophy). With a rock solid defense and strong attacking depth, the Magpies aim to go one better this season.
Dark Horses
Nottingham Forest
Under Nuno Espírito Santo, Forest achieved a remarkable turnaround, finishing just shy of Champions League qualification. With a focus on disciplined play and savvy player recruiment, they could surprise many this season.
Aston Villa
Unai Emery's side has shown resilience and tactical flexibility. With a mix of experienced players and emerging talents, Villa could challenge for European spots.
Chelsea
Despite inconsistencies, Chelsea's young squad under Enzo Maresca has potential. If they find cohesion, the Blues could re-enter the title conversation.
Teams Under Pressure
Manchester United
Following a disappointing season, United faces uncertainty. With odds of 66/1 to win the league and 16/1 for relegation (can you believe it?), the Red Devils must address squad issues and managerial concerns to avoid further decline.
Promoted Teams to Watch
Sunderland
After an eight-year absence, Sunderland returns to the Premier League, buoyed by young talents like Jobe Bellingham. Their momentum and youthful energy could make them a surprise package.
Leeds United & Burnley
Both clubs have bounced back swiftly, bringing Premier League experience and passionate fanbases. Their return adds depth and excitement to the league.
The next Premier League season will kick off in August 2025
